The reason why Arabia is called Arab comes from various references. Some believe that the word is derived from the Arabic name. Which means desert. Some say that the name of the first inhabitant of this country was Yarb bin Qahtan. It was named after him .Some people think that the first name of the country was Martaba which later became Arab .But the general idea is that Arab is derived from Arabs. The people of this country were so proud of their language that they called themselves Arabs and the whole world called Ajam. The literal meaning of the word Arab is desert and barren land. Since ancient times, this word has been used for the Arabian Peninsula and the nations living in it.

Geographical location

Arabia is located in the southwest of Asia, at the point where the borders of Asia and Africa meet. And Europe is very close to both land and sea routes. One of the reasons why Arabs became the main source of Islam was because it had a central position and because every continent is connected to Arabia by sea. And their ships docked directly at Arab ports. Geographically, Arabia is a peninsula with water on three sides and land on one side. It is bordered by the Red Sea to the west, the Persian Gulf and Oman to the east, the Indian Ocean to the south, and Syria to the north. That is, a quarter of Arabia is on land.

                                                        

A significant part of Arabia is the desert. Where there is no population. Mount Jabja is the largest mountain range, Jabal al-Saraat. There is no major river in Arabia except the two rivers of Iraq, the Tigris and the Euphrates. However, there are places where the interior is inland because it is surrounded by deserts. Thanks to which it has become such a safe fortress. Due to its geographical location, parts of Arabia have been the hub of trade, culture and arts, and the hub of various nations, due to its geographical location.
