What in the world would happen if all the oceans were flooded?
What if we found a way to get all the oceans out of the earth through a mysterious portal at the bottom of the Mariana Trench? How long will it take? Years, centuries?
a thousand years Will there be any life left on earth when the water runs out? What if it happened overnight?
What would happen if we took out all the oceans of the world? Seawater makes up 70% of the earth's surface.
How much liquid is it?
If you could put all this water into an Olympic-sized swimming pool,
you would need many of these swimming pools. Even if we open a portal the size of a basketball court,
it will take us hundreds of years to get the oceans out.
They have stored one billion cubic kilometers of water.
But what if we had a powerful pump that drained all the oceans in one minute? then what will happen? Certainly,
swimmers, sailors, sailors, everyone at sea will soon feel the effects.
Within a second, the passengers and swimmers in the boats would fall down, they would run away with some broken bones. Deep sea ships will not be so lucky.
A Titanic-sized ship would hit the floor in 30 seconds and break into small pieces.
The same thing would happen to every large ship in the ocean within the first minute.
What about sea creatures?
You already know the answer,
it will be a literal rain of fish.
Because all the whales, dolphins and other large aquatic animals will be consciously exploring the surface and falling to the surface of the sea.
But that's where the real trouble begins.
There are two supporting roles in our oceans. First,
they regulate global temperature by absorbing energy from the sun.
They push the hot water north and south and then carry the cold water to the equator.
That way, no place on Earth gets too hot, or too cold, and helps control the global climate. Second, the oceans that cause water vapor to evaporate in the clouds and rain down on the land.
When the oceans disappear, the earth will turn into a vast wilderness.
Go ahead and throw your umbrella because it will never rain again.
Will we be able to meet these lakes and rivers again in a minute? Without oceans, the world loses 97% of its water.
Small amounts of liquid will not be enough to maintain the water cycle,
potable water pools will evaporate very quickly.
In a few days, people and most animals will die of dehydration. In a few weeks,
the plants will begin to bloom in the dry air. In a few months, a massive forest death will begin.
And all these dry dead plants will eventually catch fire.
In a few years, most of the world's forests will be burned.
The smoke from this huge fire will spread all over the planet,
there will be less and less oxygen in the atmosphere.
If humans were still present, the unbearable wind and scorching temperature would have wiped us out,
just as the earth would have dried up like Venus.
So what if you take a few days off and enjoy a little beach fun while you can?
