Hajjaj ibn Yusuf was throwing fireballs at the Ka'bah when Ibn Zubayr narrated the history of manhood. He received constant messages to throw down his arms but he refused. He consulted his mother Hazrat Asma. 

Did they say that the people of truth do not care about how many helpers and companions they have? Go and fight alone and do not even think of obedience. Ibn Zubayr fought against the ruthless Hajjaj ibn Yusuf and He was martyred. 

The pilgrims beheaded him and sent him to Caliph Abdul Malik and hung his body. He himself reached Hazrat Asma and said, "You have seen the fate of your son." He replied, "Yes, you have ruined his world." And he spoiled your back. Pilgrims won, Ibn Zubayr lost. Time passed. Abu Ja'far Mansur offered Imam Abu Hanifa to be the judge of the judiciary several times but he refused each time. On one occasion the bitterness between the two became so great that Mansur openly resorted to oppression.

اسکاٹ لینڈ کی جنگ آزادی لڑنے والے دلاور ولیم والس کو جب انگلینڈ کے بادشاہ ایڈورڈ اوّل نے گرفتار کیا تو اُس پر غداری کا مقدمہ قائم کیا، اسے برہنہ کرکے گھوڑوں کے سموں کے ساتھ باندھ کر لندن کی گلیوں میں گھسیٹا گیا اور پھر ناقابل بیان تشدد کے بعد اُسے پھانسی دے کر لاش کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیئے گئے۔

اُس وقت کا بادشاہ جیت گیا، ولیم والس ہار گیا۔ وقت گزر گیا۔گلیلیو نے ثابت کیا کہ زمین اور دیگر سیارے سورج کے گرد گھومتے ہیں تو یہ کیتھولک عقائد کی خلاف ورزی تھی، چرچ نے گلیلیو پر کفر کا فتویٰ لگایا اور اسے غیرمعینہ مدت تک کے لئے قید کی سزا سنا دی، یہ سزا 1633میں سنائی گئی، گلیلیو اپنے گھر میں ہی قید رہا اور 1642 میں وہیں اُس کی وفات ہوئی، پادری جیت گئے سائنس ہار گئی۔ وقت گزر گیا۔

جیورڈانو برونو پر بھی چرچ کے عقائد سے انحراف کرنے کا مقدمہ بنا یاگیا، برونو نے اپنے دفاع میں کہا کہ اس کی تحقیق عیسائیت کے عقیدہ خدا اور اُس کی تخلیق سے متصادم نہیں مگر اُس کی بات نہیں سنی گئی اور اسے اپنے نظریات سے مکمل طور پر تائب ہونے کے لئے کہا گیا، برونو نے انکار کر دیا، پوپ نے برونو کو کافر قرار دے دیا، 8فروری1600کو جب اسے فیصلہ پڑھ کر سنایا گیا تو برونو نے تاریخی جملہ کہا ’’

میں یہ فیصلہ سنتے ہوئے اتنا خوفزدہ نہیں ہوں جتنا تم یہ فیصلہ سناتے ہوئے خوفزدہ ہو۔‘‘برونو کی زبان کاٹ دی گئی اور اسے زندہ جلا دیا گیا۔ پوپ جیت گیا، برونو ہار گیا۔ وقت گزر گیا۔حجاج بن یوسف جب خانہ کعبہ پر آگ کے گولے پھینک رہا تھا تو اُس وقت ابن زبیرؓ نے جوانمردی کی تاریخ رقم کی، انہیں مسلسل ہتھیار پھینکنے کے پیغامات موصول ہوئے مگر آپ ؓ نے انکار کردیا، اپنی والدہ حضرت اسماؓ سے مشورہ کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ اہل حق اس بات کی فکر نہیں کیا کرتے کہ ان کے پاس کتنے مددگار اور ساتھی ہیں، جاؤ تنہا لڑو اور اطاعت کا تصور بھی ذہن میں نہ لانا، ابن زبیر ؓ نے سفاک حجاج بن یوسف کا مقابلہ کیا اور شہادت نوش فرمائی

، حجاج نے آپؓ کا سر کاٹ کر خلیفہ عبد المالک کو بھجوا دیا اور لاش لٹکا دی، خود حضرت اسماؓ کے پاس پہنچا اور کہا تم نے بیٹے کا انجام دیکھ لیا، آپؓ نے جواب دیا ہاں تو نے اس کی دنیا خراب کر دی اور اُس نے تیری عقبیٰ بگاڑ دی۔ حجاج جیت گیا، ابن زبیر ؓ ہار گئے۔ وقت گزر گیا۔ابو جعفر منصور نے کئی مرتبہ امام ابو حنیفہ ؒکو قاضی القضاۃ بننے کی پیشکش کی مگر آپ نے ہر مرتبہ انکار کیا، ایک موقع پر دونوں کے درمیان تلخی اس قدر بڑھ گئی کہ منصور کھلم کھلا ظلم کرنے پر اتر آیا،
