ایک عرب مسلمان لڑکی لندن میں زیرِ تعلیم تھی، ایک دن وہ اپنی سہیلی کے کسی تقریب میں گئی ، کوشش کے باوجود وہ وہاں سے جلدی نہ نکل سکی، جب وہ اس فنگشن سے فارغ ہوکر نکلی تو رات کافی دیر ہوچکی تھی..

اس کا گھر دور تھا، گھر جلدی پہنچنے کا ذریعہ زیرِ زمین چلنے والی ٹرین تھی، لیکن وہ ٹرین سے سفر کرنے سے کچھ خوف محسوس کرہی تھی کیونکہ برطانیہ میں اکثر رات کے وقت ٹرینوں اور اسٹیشنوں پر بہت سے جرائم پیشہ اور نشہ میں دھت افراد ہوتے ہیں، آئے روز ٹی وی چینلز اور اخبارات میں یہاں ہونے والی وارداتوں کا تذکرہ موجود ہوتا ہے...

چونکہ اس لڑکی کو زیادہ دیر ہوچکی تھی اور بس کافی وقت لے سکتی تھی ، اس لئے اس نے بہت سے خدشات وخطرات کے باوجود ٹرین میں جانے کا فیصلہ کرلیا، یہ بات پیشِ نظر رہے کہ یہ لڑکی دیندار نہیں تھی بلکہ بہت زیادہ آزاد خیال اور لبرل تھی...

جب وہ اسٹیشن پر پہنچی تو یہ دیکھ کر اس کے جسم میں خوف کی ایک سرد لہر دوڑ گئی کہ اسٹیشن بالکل سنسان ہے، صرف ایک شخص کھڑا ہے جو حلیہ سے ہی جرائم پیشہ لگتا تھا، وہ انتہائی خوفزدہ ہوگئی، پھر اس نے ہمت کی خود کو سنبھالا، قرآنی آیت کا ورد کرنا شروع کردیا، اسے جو کچھ زبانی یاد تھا جسے ایک عرصے سے وہ بھولی ہوئی تھی ، سب کچھ پڑھ ڈالا... اتنے میں ٹرین آئی اور وہ اس میں سوار ہوکر بخیریت اپنے گھر پہنچ گئی ...

اگلے دن کا اخبار دیکھ کر وہ چونک اٹھی، اسی اسٹیشن پر اس کے روانہ ہونے کے تھوڑی دیربعد ایک نوجوان لڑکی کا قتل ہوا اور قاتل گرفتار بھی ہوگیا...

وہ پولیس اٹیشن گئی ، پولیس والوں کو بتایا کہ قتل سے کچھ دیر پہلے وہ اس اسٹیشن پر موجود تھی، میں قاتل کو پہچانتی ہوں ، اس سے کچھ پوچھنا چاہتی ہوں، جب وہ مجرم کے سیل کے سامنے پہنچی تو اس سے پوچھا:" کیا تم مجھے پہچانتے ہو؟"

اس نے جواب دیا:" ہاں پہچانتا ہوں" رات کو تم بھی اس اسٹیشن پر آئی تھیں..

لڑکی نے پوچھا:" پھر تم نے مجھے کیوں چھوڑ دیا؟"

وہ کہنے لگا:" میں تمہیں کیسے نقصان پہنچاتا؟ ! تمہارے پیچھے تو دو انتہائی صحتمند اور قدآور باڈی گارڈ تھے"

یہ سن کر لڑکی حیران ہوگئ، اسے یقین ہوگیا کہ قرآن کی آیتوں کا ورد کرنے کی وجہ سے اللّٰہ کی طرف سے اسکی حفاظت کی گئی.. وہ وآپسی پر اللّٰہ کے تشکر اور احسان مندی کے جذبات سے مغلوب تھی، اللّٰہ کی مدد اور نصرت پر اس کا بھروسہ مزید بڑھ گیا تھا..

"اگر ہم اپنے دل کی گہرائیوں سے اللّٰہ کو پکاریں اور اللّٰہ کی تائید ونصرت پر بھروسہ رکھیں تو ہم اللّٰہ کی رحمت سے کبھی محروم نہیں رہیں گے۔"
